One real board, explained
Why does a road that looks safe fail?
On Roundabout, the car and flag sit at height 43. The boulder is centered at height 34 with radius 10, so a straight road clips its lower edge. Passing at height 49 leaves room beneath it.
The illustrated detour uses about 80 board units. A successful route of 100 or less earns three stars. First find a valid line; then remove extra bends. Fast driving does not add stars.
The game checks the entire line, including the segments between drawn points. Two safe endpoints can still connect through danger.
